How to use Weishi

Audio course creation tutorial

A single class is divided into: a single live class, a single video class, and a single audio class

Live class: Live class real-time video class, in which the start time and end time of the course must be filled in. After filling in the course information, save it directly to complete the course creation.

Note: If the teacher's start time and end time are set to 8:00-9:00, and the teacher clicks to end the get out of class before 9 o'clock, the system will prompt to generate the replay immediately or not to generate the replay temporarily.

​​Choose to generate the replay immediately, and the replay can be generated in 5-10 minutes

If you choose not to generate a replay for the time being, the replay will be automatically generated 5-10 minutes after 9 o'clock. If the teacher enters the class again before 9 o'clock and clicks to teach, the replay generated after 9 o'clock will be the sum of the two videos.

Video class: You must upload a video when providing course information. The video can be uploaded locally or directly use the video in the video library.

Audio lessons are the same as video lessons

​ ​ 2. Enter the WeShi client

Students log in and scan the QR code of the student login to log in. The teacher switches to the QR code of the classroom administrator to log in. The guest speaker/teaching assistant needs to use the guest speaker code/teaching assistant code to log in.

The live broadcasts that students have registered for will be displayed in the WeShi client

The teacher’s upcoming live broadcast courses will also be displayed on the client. Click the “Enter Live Broadcast” button to enter the live broadcast room (as shown below)

The teaching assistant login method is as follows: the teacher obtains the teaching assistant link of the live class in the WeShi PC management background and copies the link to the teaching assistant.

Note: One teaching assistant code only supports one person to log in. The WeShi client allows up to 3 teaching assistants to log in at the same time to assist teachers in giving live classes.

After the teaching assistant gets the teaching assistant link, he opens the WeShi client and enters the teaching assistant link to enter the teacher's live broadcast room for live broadcast assistance. Enter the operation as shown in the figure:

① It is recommended that teachers enter the classroom at least half an hour in advance to debug the equipment and upload courseware

② If you are using a desktop computer, please use a two-plug headset and plug it into the jack on the back of the chassis. The microphone plug is plugged into the pink hole and the other into the green hole; if you are using a laptop and there are two jack, then use a headset with two plugs. If it is a single hole, use a single plug (with a microphone, such as a headset that can make calls on a mobile phone) headset. If there is no headset with a corresponding plug, you can use an adapter.

3. Management teaching courseware

Click on My Courseware, click on Manage Courseware, click on Common Courseware, select the courseware to upload

The management courseware of the new version of the live broadcast has been moved to the left side of the client, and the rest of the operations are the same as the old version

4. Course Recording

After clicking the class button, the course can be automatically recorded in the cloud. Local recording requires the teacher to choose whether to start it.

After the class is over, just click End get out of class. The cloud live broadcast replay will be generated 3-5 hours later, and the local replay will be generated immediately on the teacher’s computer desktop.
