Xiaomi router PC client

The Xiaomi routing client can be used to manage your Xiaomi router and your wifi network. It can customize the wifi name, download files to the computer, and supports remote control of the Xiaomi router and your computer using your mobile phone. Use it to build your own wifi network now!

How to install and use the Xiaomi router PC client:

Check the box to agree to the agreement and click Install

The client will be automatically installed to the C drive, and the program installation directory cannot be selected.

The icon of the PC client is a WIFI wireless logo. You can open the client by double-clicking it.

The client can log in through the administrator password and Xiaomi account. If it is connected to the router through the external network for control, it must be logged in through the Xiaomi account.

This is the Xiaomi router PC client, which is very simple but powerful. Click the button in the lower right corner to view the router management background, disk space, check for updates and client software version.

Click Xiaomi Router Disk to directly access the hard drive on the router, upload and download files, and view data on the hard drive, which is very convenient. Click the function key in the upper right corner to control remote downloading, download files and perform BT downloads.

Click "Start Backup"

【Customized backup】

When we click "Start Backup", a dialog box will pop up, as follows:

Click "Add Folder" to select the folder where the files you want to back up are located:

After selecting, click "Start Backup" and wait for the backup to finish. Wired connections allow for faster backup speeds.

If you want to stop the backup after starting it, you can place the mouse over "Backing up..." to pause the backup at any time.

【Smart Backup】

Xiaomi router backup feature also provides another backup feature. The so-called smart backup is to scan the photos, videos, music, and documents in the hard disk of your PC (even if it is connected to a mobile storage device) and back it up. It is relatively easy to understand, right?

【View file】

Clicking on the three dots in the lower right corner of the main interface of the program allows you to conveniently set the above two backup methods; in addition, you can view the backed up files at any time. Click "View Files" to directly enter the folder you backed up.

【Other instructions】

1. After the program is started, the local router will be connected by default. Please note that Xiaomi router cannot be backed up if it is in a remote state.

For example (as shown below), the Xiaomi router in remote mode cannot see the backup function bar on the PC client:)

2. Automatic backup option: After this function is checked, the Xiaomi router will automatically scan the backup folder for changes within a period of time. If new content is added, incremental backup can be achieved.

3. Currently, the backup function of the PC client is only for Xiaomi routers, and is not supported by Xiaomi router mini.
