Zotac overclocking software (FireStorm)

FireStorm is a graphics card overclocking auxiliary software launched by Zotac. Zotac FireStorm overclocking software breaks the past tradition with the help of Zotac graphics card OC Plus overclocking module. The chip on the external module can easily achieve overclocking and simultaneously monitor the graphics card. operating status, current status of each phase, and overall conversion efficiency of the power supply.

Software features

The main interface of this tool is very simple. The five options are clear at a glance: core frequency, stream processor frequency, video memory frequency, fan speed, and core voltage. Players can drag and adjust them through the scroll bar on the right.
In addition, this tool also has the common temperature monitoring function of such tools. The BIOS saving and refreshing functions of the graphics card FireStorm are also provided to users through an additional option menu. Tutorial

1． Zotac graphics card overclocking software has three built-in modes: 2D, 3D, and 3D+. The three modes have fixed frequencies and voltages. Players can choose the mode they want. It is suitable for overclocking novices, but due to the fixed frequency voltage and graphics card constitution, etc. Reason, not all graphics cards can run these three modes stably.

2. If players are not satisfied with the fixed mode overclocking capabilities or the overclocking is unsuccessful, then players can manually overclock by themselves as follows:

Open the graphics card overclocking software and select Advance

After entering the Advance interface, select Manual in the lower right corner for manual overclocking. The following is a description of each parameter:

GPU Clock Offset

This adjustment is based on the graphics card GPU core frequency for overclocking.

Mem Clock Offset

This adjustment is based on the memory frequency for overclocking.

Frame Target

Target frame number, this item does not need to be modified.

Power(%)

This item refers to the maximum percentage of the core voltage. The larger the value, the greater the adjustment of the graphics card core voltage. It is recommended to adjust it to the maximum value first when overclocking.

Fan Speed(%)

This item refers to the fan speed. The default setting is intelligent automatic adjustment. After selecting Manual, it becomes manual adjustment. When overclocking, it is recommended to set the fan speed simultaneously.

Now players can start to play freely. Select the frequency, voltage and graphics card fan speed they want, and click Apply. If you want to restore the default settings, click Reset.

Because some high-end cards such as the Extreme series are already high-frequency graphics cards, if the frequency is exceeded to a high level, it may cause overclocking failure or screen distortion and other problems. The physical constitution of the graphics card itself is also different, so it is recommended that players overclock. Add it up little by little and try it step by step, so that you can experience the fun of overclocking and find the frequency that suits you.

How to enable player mode

First, make sure the OC+ module is connected and the driver is installed, then open the overclocking software and click Gamer to turn on the gamer mode.

Select ON in Gamer Conlrol. Players can add voltage to the GPU core and video memory of the graphics card by themselves. It is recommended not to add too much at one time and gradually fine-tune it. After setting the voltage, click Set Gamer Mode to save. If you want to restore the default settings, click Reset reset.

The right panel shows the parameters of some voltage measurement points of the graphics card for players’ reference.
