Double-click the small speaker - Options - keep only the volume control, waveform, and microphone that can be selected - OK. Open the options - click Advanced Control - click Advanced under the microphone - there is only one option that can be checked, so check it. If there are two, you can only choose one (try selecting 2 first). Then open the options - Properties - click Recording in the upper part - keep mono, stereo, and microphone. After the driver is correctly installed, you still need to turn on the microphone function. In XP, you can simply click the small speaker button on the taskbar to set it, but the corresponding position has changed in Win7. Enter the "Control Panel", select the "Sound" item, and then switch to the "Recording" tab to see if "Microphone" is set as the default device. Of course, some sound cards may have multiple microphone options, so select the correct "Microphone".

Through the above settings, your microphone may sound normally, but if you find that the microphone sound is relatively small, you need to make detailed settings. In the "Recording" tab in the second step, double-click the default "Microphone" icon to enter detailed settings, switch to the "Level" option, drag "Microphone" to 100, and drag "Microphone Enhancement" to +30.0dB. If the sound is louder, you can adjust it. If the sound is smaller, it is difficult to adjust. In addition, under the "Enhance" tab, you can also disable all sound effects. According to the feedback of many netizens, turning on these effects may cause the microphone to have low volume problems or even silence, so select "Disable all sound effects".
