After selecting one or more files, right-click the file and select [Add to compressed file...] in the pop-up right-click menu. (1) How to add comments to the compressed package?
When compressing a file, click the [Add Comment] button on the [You will create a compressed file] interface to enter comments in the new pop-up window. Or in the main interface of the software, after selecting a compressed package, click the [Comment] button in the [Operation] menu on the menu bar to add comments to the existing compressed file.
(2)What is a self-extracting file?
A self-extracting file is a compressed file that can be decompressed by itself without using external software. Using 360 compression, files can be compressed into self-extracting files in exe format.
(3) Why is the generation of rar format not supported?
Because rar is Winrar's proprietary compression format, other compression software cannot theoretically compress or write rar files (the writing process is actually equivalent to re-compression). Therefore, 360 Compression does not currently support the generation of rar format, nor does it support renaming and deleting files within rar files. In actual use, the zip format file is more versatile. The zip file can be opened by default even if it is transferred to a smartphone.
