VMware11 installation steps

​​ 1. Download the VMware11 official version installation package from Huajun Software Park. After unzipping, double-click the exe program to enter the installation wizard and click Next

​ 2. Read the license agreement, click "I accept..." and click Next

3. Select the installation type and click

​​ 4. Click "Change" to select the installation folder. Generally, it is installed on the C drive of the computer by default. It is recommended to install on the D drive. Click Next.

5. Select additional tasks, check Create desktop shortcut, and click Next

FAQ

Cause: Network mode configuration error, virtual network editor settings improperly, firewall restrictions.

Solution:

​ ​ ​ ​ Check the virtual machine network adapter mode (bridged, NAT or host only) and switch as needed.

Reset the virtual network editor and restart VMware related services (such as VMware NAT Service).

Release and renew the IP address (run ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew in the virtual machine).

Network abnormality after cloning virtual machine

Reason: MAC address conflict.

Solution:

Regenerate the MAC address in the virtual machine settings (Advanced tab).
