1. Play music

3. Recording and sharing

Before saving the recording file or video file, you need to perform in the recording mode. To enter the recording mode, You can select the "Recording" item in the "Recording" menu, or directly click the "Recording" button on the main interface with the mouse.

After entering the recording mode, the indicator light next to the recording button will turn bright red, and the time on the interface will start to move. Now you can start playing. After you finish playing, please click the "Record" button again to end the recording. After the recording is completed, you can click the "Play" button to play the recording. If there are no problems, you can start "saving" or "exporting". If you are not satisfied with the recording just now, you can click the "Record" button again to record again. When re-recording, the previous recording will be automatically cleared.

You can share the songs you play with your friends in 2 ways. First, the recording can be saved as an fpm file, which is a FreePiano-specific recording format. What is keyboard layout?

In FreePiano, we collectively refer to all performance-related settings as keyboard layout (map file). A keyboard layout is made up of one or more "groups", and each group includes the following settings: Global performance settings, such as tunes.
