Adobe Photoshop CS6 is a milestone version of Adobe's Photoshop series software. It was officially released in 2012. On the basis of inheriting the powerful image processing functions of the past, it brings revolutionary performance improvements and modern functions. Its most notable feature is a new dark interface, and for the first time it introduces major innovations in "content-aware" tools, such as the "content-aware move" tool, which allows users to intelligently move or expand objects in an image and automatically fill in empty areas. Next, let Huajun editor explain to you how to create animated graphics in Photoshop CS6 and how to create animated graphics in Photoshop CS6!
first step
Start Photoshop CS6 and create or open a picture as a background. Make sure the layer you want to animate is unlocked (the background layer needs to be unlocked by double-clicking).
Step 2
Click Window on the top menu bar → check Timeline. The timeline panel will appear at the bottom of the interface, click the Create Frame Animation button in the middle (if the default is the video timeline, you need to click the menu in the upper right corner to switch to frame animation).
Step 3
Click the Duplicate Selected Frames button in the lower right corner of the timeline to copy multiple frames (such as 5 frames) according to the animation complexity.
Step 4
Select frame 1 and hide all layers except the background (click the little eye icon in front of the layer).
Select the second frame, display the first layer to be moved (such as text or shape), and adjust the position/transparency, etc.
Repeat operation: display a new layer every frame or adjust the current layer state to form a gradient effect.
Step 5
Use the Type Tool (T) to type text on the canvas.
In the timeline:
Hidden text in frame 1.
Frame 2 displays text and sets the initial state (such as transparency 0%).
Subsequent frames gradually increase transparency or move position to achieve a fade/move effect.
Step 6
Time interval: Select all frames, click the time number below any frame, and set the delay time uniformly (such as 0.1 seconds).
Loop method: Click the loop options (number of loops) at the bottom of the timeline and select Forever.
Step 7
Click the play button in the timeline to preview the animation effect. Adjust frame order, timing, or layer states as needed.
Step 8
Click File on the top menu bar → Export for Web and Devices (shortcut Alt+Shift+Ctrl+S).
In the popup window:
For format select GIF.
Select Forever for the loop option.
Adjust the number of colors (usually 256 colors is enough).
Click Preview to check the effect, and click Save after confirming it is correct.
