Open the software
Then to set the computer recording device, please right-click the "Sound" icon at the bottom right of the window main interface, select the "Recording Device" option, select "Microphone", right-click and set it to "Set as Default Device".
Open GoldWave, and then create a new file first. To do this, click on the menu bar above to execute: File – New
At this time, you need to open a new file dialog box. First, you need to set the number of channels. The channels are usually the left channel and the right channel. Generally, you only need to set the mono channel for recording. You don’t have to set up multi-channel recording. You don’t need to worry about the sampling rate of this device. It is the default system setting. The larger the value, the better the sound quality; then set the initialization length, which is the recording time.
Then set the input device and execute: Options – Controller Properties on the menu bar to open the property setting dialog box.
In this dialog box, switch to the device selection, then the recording column, set the device in the icon position as the microphone, click the test button on the right to test whether the microphone is available, and then click the OK button to complete the setting.
After the final settings are completed, click the red dot on the controller to start recording. After recording, click the square to stop recording
