How to use layer composites in Photoshop CC Smart Objects

Considering that there may be a file with a layer comp that is used as a smart object in another file, you can select the smart object that contains the file, and the Properties panel will allow you to access the layer comp defined in the source file.

This feature allows you to change the state of a Smart Object at the layer level without editing the Smart Object.
