We only need one function. We first count the number of Zhang San’s names, enter the function =COUNTIF in the cell to be counted, and then enter the left bracket, select the statistical range, enter a comma, and then click to find the object. Here, click on Zhang San’s cell, and finally enter the right bracket. The final function is =COUNTIF(A1:B8,C2).

​ ​Select the statistical range just now and press F4 to lock it, which means changing the address to an absolute address.

Finally, press Enter and double-click to fill in, and all name times will be counted.
