Starting from BYD in Shenzhen on June 17, and traveling to Lhasa on July 6, Yundong Times’ friends drove eight vehicles of four models including Tang Dmi, Tang DMP, Han EV, and Han DM. In order to present the frontier scenery of National Highway 219 to the greatest extent, this photography trip specially invited five championship-level landscape photography teachers to form a frontline photography team of 25 people to drive together on Xintian Road. From Guangxi to Yunnan and then to Tibet, we encountered beaches, terraced fields, ocean lakes, and bridges. We took the most dangerous route into Tibet, Bingchacha, and filmed on-site in various road conditions and scenes. The starting point of Tianlu, beautiful Guangxi
On June 16, the photography team set off from Wanwei Golden Beach in Dongxing, Guangxi. The air in Guangxi in June is warm and fresh, the Wanwei Golden Beach has smooth waves and smooth sand, the Mingshi pastoral is green with green water and mountains, the Detian Transnational Waterfall is majestic and turbulent, and the Quyang Lake is quiet and gentle. The stunning scenery and the galloping motorcade demonstrate the harmonious integration of nature and technology, and are a good start for this 219 trip.
It is worth mentioning that after the fleet was charged at the Quyanghu Jingxi Lianrun car charging station, the travel team chose to camp at the Quyanghu car camping ground to experience the BYD new energy car super camp mode. In the Yuanyang Rice Terraces in Yanshan County, thousands of acres of lush green terraces complement the winding roads; in the Xishuangbanna Buddhist Temple, the Buddhist charm is magnificent and fascinating; in the warm and dense tropical rainforest, the travel team and Tang Han spent their youth together; while walking on the Longjiang Bridge, which looks like a flying dragon, the travel team deeply felt the powerful power of China's infrastructure!
A trip to Tibet that lives up to its reputation
A scenery, a memory, a journey from Yunnan to Tibet. The photography team resolutely chose the most difficult one among the eight routes to Tibet. They went down the Nu River and drove through Bingchacha, experiencing first-hand the difficulty and magnificence of the journey to Tibet. The journey into Tibet lived up to its reputation. After traveling through heavy rain and gravel and quicksand, the team finally arrived at Yamdrok Yongtso, one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. It was really a leisurely ride through falling rocks and quicksand, and the great scenery was in front of us!
The top of the plateau, a place of great beauty, a place of piety, and the source of the soul. During the filming process, the team encountered changing scenery in different regions and inevitably encountered various road conditions. This 14,000-mile journey is also a big test for BYD's new energy vehicles. Fortunately, these models have good cruising range and good power performance, and the driving experience is no less than that of fuel vehicles. Coupled with the excellent automatic driving system and the spacious interior space, the trip is easy and comfortable, which can be said to be a major contributor to this photography trip.
There were many incidents during the photo shoot. Although it is not difficult to find a charging location on the road (Baidu Maps, Amap and other apps have added new energy vehicle navigation) and you can easily find it through the map on the car, the charging process is not smooth. Traditional fuel vehicles are parked and occupied at will, causing new energy vehicles to be unable to charge normally. The execution team is also trying its best to eliminate difficulties.
When traveling to Hani and Yi Autonomous County, about 300 meters across the Nu River Bridge, a landslide occurred on a local hillside, and the accumulated stones blocked the journey. The filming team had to get out of the car and work together to remove the rocks blocking the road.
The biggest obstacle encountered on the way is altitude sickness. Looking back on this trip, a friend from Yundong Times said that his biggest gain was the opportunity to see the holy lake Yamdrok Yongcuo in Tibet, and also experienced altitude sickness at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters.
