Many friends now like to use word software, which is very convenient for editing papers. However, some friends said that they are not yet able to sort the references in the paper in ascending alphabetical order, so the editor below has brought a simple tutorial on sorting the references in the word paper in ascending alphabetical order. Let’s take a look!
Convert references to tables: Select all references-->Click Insert on the toolbar, Table, and Convert Text to Table-->In the pop-up dialog box, select the paragraph mark for the text split position option, and finally click OK to convert to sheet.
Select the reference table and sort it in ascending order: Select the table --> Click the Layout tab --> Click Sort --> In the pop-up dialog box, select ascending order, and default to others. Finally, click OK to sort successfully.
Note: The table in WPS text does not have a sorting function. You can copy the references to the WPS table for sorting and then copy them back to the original document.
Convert the table to text: Select the table-->Click Convert to Text-->In the pop-up dialog box, select the paragraph mark for the text separator, and finally click OK to convert to text.
If there is a need to sort the references alphabetically in the paper, you can sort your references according to the sorting method of this article.
