The APP, called WHO MyHealth, was originally proposed by a group of former Google and Microsoft employee volunteers and brought together some experts and WHO consultants to produce it.

According to the current schedule, WHO MyHealth will release the first early version on March 30 and land on iOS and Android platforms at the same time.

According to official documents, WHO MyHealth will push alert notifications and self-diagnosis tools based on user location to initially determine whether the user's symptoms are the same as those of COVID-19.

In addition, WHO MyHealth can also query historical location data to determine whether the user has had contact with confirmed patients, but this data involves privacy.
