According to the latest data from market research organization Netmarketshare, Windows 10 has firmly secured its position as the world's largest operating system. The current situation is that more and more Windows 7 users are beginning to switch to this new system.
The data shows that Windows 10 and Google Chrome have slightly increased their market share compared to January 2020 data. With Windows 7 ending support, more and more users are switching to Windows 10, and the operating system currently holds 57.39% of the market share.
Followed by Windows 7, its market share is 25.20%. Windows 8.1 ranks third with a market share of 3.48%, followed by macOS X 10.14 with a market share of 2.77%.
In terms of browsers, Google Chrome's market share has increased slightly and now holds 67.27% of the market, followed by Mozilla Firefox with 7.57% of the market.
Microsoft's Edge and Internet Explorer ranked third and fourth with market shares of 7.39% and 6.38% respectively.
