For Microsoft, Live Tiles are useless on desktop systems, so it is necessary to withdraw this feature.
According to foreign media reports, after the death of the Windows 10 Mobile system, Microsoft has completely stopped improving the live tile experience on Windows 10. Although third-party apps like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram support Live Tiles, they don't display any useful information.
The report quoted sources within Microsoft as saying that live tiles will be replaced with icons in future updates after the release of Windows 10 20H2. Live Tiles for Windows 10 are expected to disappear sometime in 2020/2021, most likely until a 2021 feature update.
If the rumors are true, Windows 10's Start menu is about to receive a bunch of static icons representing upcoming apps and games. The redesigned Windows 10 Start menu will be closer to Windows 10X, but the UI will be tailored for desktop computers.
