According to the latest reports from foreign media, Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro will also be updated soon, mainly to upgrade to the 10th generation Core Ice Lake processor to replace the current Coffee Lake processor.

In October last year, Apple expanded its MacBook Pro product line and added a 16-inch version. Now Apple's 13-inch MacBook Pro is about to receive an update, and there are even running scores for the new 13-inch MacBook Pro on Twitter, according to the latest 3DMark benchmark results announced by @_rogame.

Judging from the running score results, the MacBook Pro 13 equipped with Ice Lake processor is obviously more powerful than the previous generation. The performance of the CPU has been improved by about 12%, and the GPU has been improved by 30%.

As one of Intel's most important customers, Apple always enjoys unique treatment that other manufacturers do not have. For example, the tenth generation Ice Lake processor, the highest-end model we have seen is i7-1065G7, but there are actually higher-end models: i7-1068G7 and i7-1068NG7. However, there is only one manufacturer that is qualified to use these two processors, and that is Apple.

Compared with several other Ice Lake processors, the base frequency of i7-1068G7 is as high as 2.3GHz, which is 1000MHz higher than i7-1065G7. The acceleration frequency can reach 4.1GHz, and the full-core frequency is also 3.6GHz. The TDP is as high as 28W, which is much higher than the 15W of other Ice Lake processors.
