Select a picture and open it with FW
Create a layer on the image, make a rectangle the same size as the image, and fill it with white
Add the Edges effect to this rectangle
The settings are as shown in the figure
Note that for Color (color fill), select black, select the rectangle, Ctrl+X to cut, select the picture, execute: Edit --> Paste as mask, in the layer panel, click on the mask of the picture
Set the mask type to grayscale appearance in the properties panel
