These nine items in the XP system advanced startup options menu, safe mode can diagnose faults, and restarting is also an important function. If you look at these items, you will know that they are related to faults, etc. If you use these items well, you can operate the system better.
Let’s take a look at the xp options menu diagram first;
1. Safe mode:
It is used when the system cannot be entered in normal mode or cannot be operated in the normal system. We choose this option to enter and operate. When entering safe mode, the system only uses some of the most basic files and drivers to start. Entering Safe Mode is an important step in diagnosing a problem. If the safe mode cannot be entered, then the most basic core files of the system are damaged, and everyone can only reinstall the system (safe mode! Let XP uninstall perfectly);
Scope of application: If the system cannot be entered normally due to abnormal driver, you can enter safe mode to delete the corresponding driver.
Files, viruses, etc. that cannot be deleted on the normal desktop
Not listed here.
2. Safe mode with network connection
It is the same as safe mode, but with the addition of network connection function, you can use network operations, downloads, etc. in safe mode.
3. Safe mode with command line prompt
It is also similar to safe mode, using only basic files and drivers to start Windows XP. However, after logging in, a command prompt appears on the screen instead of the Windows desktop. This use requires a certain understanding of DOS commands.

It is suitable for situations where the graphics card driver is not installed correctly and the screen does not display due to resolution overclocking.
