1. First, right-click a blank space on the desktop or data manager, find [New] in the pop-up menu, find and click [Text Document] in the new menu.

2. After successfully creating a new text document, double-click it to open it.

3. Find and click the [Format]-[Font] submenu in the upper menu bar of the pop-up text document window.

4. In the small font window that pops up, select the font you need to change. Personally, I recommend: Consolas. This font is an isometric font (that is, the width of numbers and letters is the same).

5. If you like nostalgic users, you can choose: Fixedsys font. This font is the default font for notepad in winXP and win2003.
