The installation of Smart Wubi can usually be successful, but sometimes due to certain circumstances, an error may occur during the installation, resulting in an unsuccessful installation.
First, Smart Wubi can only run on the WINDOWS system with Chinese characters, so if your system is not a WINDOWS system with Chinese characters, it will not be usable after installation.
Secondly, in the Chinese WINDOWS system, if you have installed Smart Wubi before, it is required that your previous Smart Wubi cannot be run in the memory during installation. If the previous smart Wubi is already running in the memory, the following prompt will appear during installation: (see the picture below)
Installation error
The solution to this situation is:
1. First close the window where Smart Wubi has been used, and then install it.
2. If it still fails, you can restart your machine and install it immediately.
3. If the above installation failure message still appears after restarting, it may be that your previous Smart Wubi was set as the system default input method. You must first set Smart Wubi as the system's non-default input method. The way to cancel is to set other input methods as the system default input method. The specific settings are as follows:
⑴. Use the right mouse button to click on the Input Method Manager icon in the taskbar in the lower right corner of the WINDOWS desktop. A menu will pop up, and then click "Properties" in the menu (see the picture below).

⑵. After clicking "Properties", the following window will pop up. Select an input method other than the intelligent Chenqiao Chinese character input platform, such as English input method, and click
"Set to Default (S)" (see image below).
