1. How to resize disk partition
When buying and installing a computer, the issues of disk partitioning and setting partition size are usually set by the installer, which does not attract the attention of many buyers. Under normal circumstances, a disk is divided into 4 partitions during installation. Sometimes the system partition C drive is too small and there are too many data disks or there are too many C drives and other data disks are too small. There is even a hard disk whose entire capacity is allocated to the system disk. In short, the disk partition may be unreasonable. How to solve it? At this time, you need to resize the hard disk partition. The following are the steps for the partition assistant to adjust the partition size.
Adjust partition instance
Task environment:
Assume that the user's Windows 7 system has a 36GB disk with 3 partitions on it, one is the 100MB reserved partition E drive, the second is the system partition C drive 15.01GB, and the third is the data partition F drive 20.89GB.
Mission objectives:
Since this system is a Windows 7 system, the capacity of the C drive is only 15.01GB, which seems a bit small, so I want to adjust the size of the system partition C drive from 15GB to 20GB.
Operating principle:
Since the F drive has extra space, you can allocate some space from the F drive to the C drive. That is, compress the F drive to 15.90GB and expand the C drive to 20GB.
Operation steps
1. Download the free Partition Assistant, install it on your computer, and then start it. You will see the main interface below. You can also see that the C partition is 15.01GB and the F partition is 20.89GB, as shown in the picture.

2. Now shrink (i.e. compress) the F drive to 15.90GB. Right-click on the F drive and select the "Adjust/Move Partition" option in the pop-up menu. Then you will see the window as shown in the picture, drag to the right. Move the handle on the left to shrink the F drive to 15.90GB.
