How to save ChemDraw as a picture?

Open the ChemDraw software and draw the material structure you want to save. Here I have drawn two material structures, as shown below

Click File, select Save as or use the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S

ChemDraw software saves cdx files by default. Files in this format can be opened by using a different software next time, but files saved in image format cannot be opened by ChemDraw software.

When saving as a picture format, we can choose to save it in tif, bmp or gif format. I chose to save it in tif format here.

Double-click the picture you just saved to open it and you will see the structure we just drew. At this time, you cannot open this picture with ChemDraw software because its format has changed.
