When making a ChemDraw structure, we usually need to adjust the positions of several objects in the picture. Sometimes we need to align them horizontally, sometimes we need to align them vertically, and sometimes we may need to adjust their spacing. How to achieve these effects in ChemDraw? Woolen cloth?
1. Centered distribution object method:
1. Use the "Select" tool to select the objects to be centered;
2. From the "Object" menu, select the "Center on Page" command. At this time, the selected object will appear in the center of the ChemDraw document page.
Warm reminder: Select the Show Document command from the View menu, or select Show Document from the drop-down menu of the page zoom button in the drawing area.
2. How to distribute objects horizontally or vertically:
1. Use the "Select" tool to select objects to be distributed horizontally or vertically;
2. Select the "Vertically" or "Horizontally" command from the "Distribute" submenu of the "Object" menu. At this time, the distances between the selected objects are equally distributed, and the rightmost and leftmost (or topmost and bottommost) positions remain unchanged.
Warm reminder: There are two practical distribution commands in the Distribute submenu of the Object menu. Select one of them to distribute the selected objects at equal distances horizontally or vertically. If these two commands are combined with the Align command, it will be easier and more effective to organize the appearance of reactive or structural styles.
3. Align object method:
1. Open the ChemDraw software and select the "Object" menu. The "Align" command below it contains many alignment methods. You can choose left alignment, left and right center alignment, right alignment, top alignment, top and bottom middle alignment, or bottom alignment according to actual needs.
Methods to align two or more structural graphics:
2. Use the "Select" tool to select two or more structural graphics to be aligned;
3. From the "Align" submenu of the "Object" menu, select a required alignment method, for example: Left Edges (left alignment), and the effect after alignment is,
Warm reminder: If you use the selection tool to select only part of the structure, the entire structure will be moved, showing a left-aligned effect. Another thing to note is that the alignment command only works on two or more structures.
