VideoStudio X8 mirror flip video production tutorial introduction:
Method 1: “Picture-in-picture” filter creation
1. Import the material to the overlay track, and then add the "Picture-in-Picture" VideoStudio filter to the material.
2. Click Custom Filter to enter the picture-in-picture settings dialog box.
3. In the "Reflection" column, adjust the "Opacity", "Offset" and "Fade" values. The higher the opacity value, the clearer the reflection of the material. The greater the offset value, the greater the distance between the reflection position and the material. Fading is a gradient color, as shown in Figure 1:
(Figure 1)
4. Or do not set parameters, directly select the type with reflection in the picture-in-picture type, as shown in Figure 2: (If you don’t know how to use the picture-in-picture filter, you can refer to: How to use the picture-in-picture filter for VideoStudio Tutorial)
(Figure 2)
Method 2: Custom setting method
1. Also import the material to the overlay track, and then right-click to customize the action.
2. Enter the custom settings dialog box and adjust the value of "Mirror". The following settings are mirror opacity, mirror distance and mirror fade, as shown in Figure 3:
(Figure 3)
3. Mirror opacity is the transparency of the mirror. The larger the value, the clearer the mirror. The mirror distance is the distance between the mirror and the material. The larger the value, the farther the distance. Specular fade is the degree of fading of the mirror. The larger the value, the greater the degree of fading.
The above two methods are the methods for making mirror flip videos on VideoStudio X8 introduced by the editor. I hope they will be helpful to everyone!
