There are more than 60 tools in the toolbox of Photoshop CS2. Each tool has a special function. You can use it to complete a series of operations such as creating, editing images or modifying their colors. As shown below:

We see that there will be a small arrow in the lower right corner of the location of some tools. If there is, it means that multiple tools share this location. To see all the tools in a toolbox location, please move the mouse pointer here. Toolbox location and hold down the mouse button; to select a tool, move the mouse over the tool and click the tool to select it. When you release the mouse, the tool will appear in the Toolbox.

If you hold the mouse pointer over a tool for a few seconds, an information bar will appear showing its name and the letter key you need to press to select it using the keyboard (if you want to turn off this prompt, select "Edit" | " Preferences ︱ General and turn off the Show Tooltips option). You can select tools in the toolbox by pressing shortcut keys. To select a tool that shares its toolbox location with other tools, simply hold down the SHIFT key while pressing the tool's shortcut key. For example, press SHIFT-M to select a different selection tool, and press SHIFT-P to select a different pen tool.
