​ ​​Select, copy, run WORD, paste and then format? It’s too verbose. Using the WPS Office 2012 text tool, we can easily save web content to WPS online materials with one-click operation, which is very convenient.

​ ​ 1. Save web content as online material

Before surfing the Internet, remember to run the WPS 2012 text tool first, click the "Material Library" button in the upper right corner, or click the "Material Library" button in the "Illustration" functional group of the "Insert" tab in the ribbon to open the "WPS Material Library" , as shown in Figure 1. Don't forget to click "Web scraping is turned off" in the lower left corner to turn on the web scraping function.

Select the content of interest on the web page. You can see that the "WPS Material Library" floating icon appears near the selected content. Move the mouse towards it and click "Save to WPS Material Library" in the pop-up menu, as shown in Figure 2. .

By default, these contents will be saved in the form of online materials in "My Materials → Temporary Files", as shown in Figure 3.
