A brief introduction to the tetext function

TEXT

Converts a numeric value to text in the specified numeric format.

grammar

TEXT(value,format_text)Value is a numeric value, a formula that evaluates to a numeric value, or a reference to a cell that contains a numeric value. Format_text is the number format in text form in the Category box on the Number tab in the Format Cells dialog box.

illustrate

Format_text cannot contain an asterisk (*). Calling the "Cells" command through the "Format" menu, and then formatting the cells on the "Number" tab will only change the format of the cells without affecting the values in them. Use the TEXT function to convert a numeric value into formatted text, without the result being used as a number in calculations.

How to use

1. First create a new blank table and rename it "Calculate the length of time between two dates".
