In the first major update of Win10, Microsoft has improved the right-click menu style, which is more consistent in appearance with Windows 10. At the same time, the height and width of the menu items have been increased. This is very practical in touch screen devices, but it is not meaningful in traditional keyboard and mouse operations. In fact, Microsoft has retained the function of switching the right-click menu style in Win10. You can freely switch between the current and traditional sizes, but you need to modify the registry to achieve this. For details, please refer to the following methods:

1, press Win+R to open Run, enter regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

2, expand the following locations:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionFlightedFeatures

3. Create a new DWORD (32-bit) value named ImmersiveContextMenu on the right.

4, Double-click ImmersiveContextMenu and change its value to 0.

5, restart the resource manager or log out and log in again to take effect. How to restart the resource manager:

Find "Windows Explorer" in Task Manager, right-click and select "Restart". If you have Rubik's Cube installed, you can quickly restart the resource manager in the shortcut command on the main interface, as shown in the figure below:

After completing the above modifications, the size of the right-click menu in the desktop environment, including width and height, will become smaller. As shown below:

If you want to return to the default, just delete ImmersiveContextMenu or change its value to 1.
