As you move the pointer around different colors, a live preview of the colors will appear. Hover or pause over a color to see its RGB (red, green, blue) color coordinates. Click on the desired color. When many colors are clustered together, a more accurate way to get the exact color you want is to press Enter or the spacebar to select the color.

To cancel the color picker without selecting any color, press Esc.

Tip: You can also match colors anywhere on the screen. After clicking the Color Picker, click and hold the mouse button as you drag the mouse to the color you want to match. When you move out of PowerPoint, the color picker disappears, but the color will still be previewed and matched.
