Method 1: Manually uninstall

1. If it is the XP system, select the "Start" menu → Run → Enter the DXDIAG Enter, open the DirectX diagnostic window, and select the "DirectX File" tab, as shown in Figure 1:

Open the C: WindowsSystem32 folder, find the first file (DDRAW.DLL) in the "DirectX File" list, pay attention to the version of the file in the folder and the file in the file in the "DirectX File" list; such as DDRAW. DLL file, the version in the "DirectX file" list is 5.03.3790.3959 (if it is a version to be uninstalled), the ddraw.dll of the folder is also this version.

3. According to the above method, in the C: WindowsSystem32 folder, select all the files in the "DirectX File" list, and then delete it.

If it is a version of Windows7 or above, there is no "DirectX file" option in the DirectX diagnostic tool, you need to find the DirectX file in C: WindowsSystem32 folder. DirectX usually has the following files:

D3D files, ddhelp.exe, DDRAW.DLL, DDRAWEX.DLL, DINPUT.DLL, DINPUT8.DLL, Directx.cPl, DSOUND.DLL, DPLAYX.DLL, DPMODEMX.DLL, DPWS Ockx.dll, dplaysvr.exe, dpwsock.dll, dpserial.dll, joy.cpl.

4. Select "Start → Run" in turn, enter Regedit Enter, open the following editor, position the following editors, and position the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMICROSOFT, as shown in Figure 2:

Select DirectX, double -click the Version to open the window as shown in Figure 3:

Clear "several data" and click "OK".

If you have not uninstalled DirectX, you can put HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESESOFTWAREMICROSOFT DIRECT3D, Directdraw, DirectInput, DirectMusic, DirectPlay8, DirectX, DirectX Diagnostic Tool item deletes, Windows7 may have some items, which can be ignored.
