Open the UG10.0 software, create a new blank model file, and save it as: How to create a new character in UG10.0

Click "Role" in the resource panel on the left of the software, and then the role option will appear in the component navigator.

Right-click the blank space of the role options and click "New User Role".

The software will pop up a "Role Properties" dialog box with a default name that can be changed. The role type and application module are both optional.

Change the name to "Customized Shortcut Keys", and if everything else looks OK, click OK.

When you come to the role resources, you can see that there is an additional folder "User", and there is also an additional role "Customized Shortcut Key" below.
