However, Cloud Print will shut down its service on January 1 next year, which requires Chrome OS itself to control the printer's work.

Foreign media said that Google has added a print management application "Print Management App" to Chrome OS, allowing Chrome OS users to view and manage their local print jobs and perform print management. The program is still in the early stages of development.

Like many Chrome OS applications, it is a Web-based System Web Application (SWA). Inside the program, you can see a list of recent print jobs, including the name of the job, the time of the job, and whether it was successfully sent to the printer, etc. Not only that, it will also provide the ability to scan documents.

No more information about this application is known, and its operation process cannot be seen. It is still unknown when it will be launched. However, since Cloud Print is about to shut down its service, Google will definitely take corresponding measures.
