1. Open the “Development Tools” tab

2. Insert Flash control

Click on the "Developer" tab, in the "Controls" group, click the "Other Controls" button, as shown in the figure.

3. Set Flash parameters

Now although the control is inserted, no Flash animation is displayed in PowerPoint. Next, we have to set the Flash parameters. Right-click the newly inserted control and select "Properties" from the menu.

A new "Properties" dialog box appears, which basically displays some parameters in English. The user does not need to pay attention to the specific meaning and directly clicks on the "Customize" column with the mouse. After clicking the "Customize" column, a "..." button will appear on the right side of it. Click the button to enter the Chinese "Property Page" dialog box, as shown in the figure.

In the "Property Pages" dialog box, you need to type the complete local path of the Flash animation in the "Movie URL". If you want the Flash animation to play automatically, you also need to check the "Play" option, as shown in the figure.

Note: In addition to local paths, the "Video URL" address also supports network paths. However, the computer must be connected to the Internet during slide presentations. If the Flash animation is large, it will take a relatively long time to load the animation.
