Step 1: Configure the print server and assign an IP to the printer

1. When using or changing the IP for the first time, you need to install the print server setup program on any computer in the same network segment. Here we take the fixed network print server as an example, the others are similar.

2. Install and start the fixed network printing service program, and the first selection interface will pop up:

3. Select "Product Software Installation", the "Select Installer Language" dialog box will pop up, select "Chinese (Simplified)":

4. Wait for a while and a dialog box will pop up. Click the "First Step" button:

5. In the "User Information" step, just use the default and click the "First Step" button:

6. In the "Destination Folder" dialog box, just use the default one, and it is not recommended to change it. Click the "First Step" button:

7. Finally click "Finish" to start the installation:

8. After the installation is completed, the installation completion interface will pop up. Click the "Finish" button to start the setup program:

9. In this setting program, the fixed network print server in this network will be automatically found and relevant information will be listed. Select the required print server, fill in the IP information you want in "Solid IP", and then click the "Apply" button:

10. Note that this is just to set the IP for the print server, so the printer can be replaced in the future, but the print server does not need to be changed.
