Method/steps:

1. Close the family group

1. Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Home Group.

2. Click "Leave Home Group", as shown in the figure below:

3. After the system prompts you to leave the homegroup, you will not be able to access or share the homegroup folder and printer. Simply click "Leave Homegroup".

4. After clicking Leave Homegroup, the system is leaving the settings.

5. After closing the home group, you must also close system-related services. Press the Win+R key combination to bring up the running tool, enter services.msc and press Enter.

6. Find HomeGroup Listener and HomeGroup Provider.

7. Double-click to open or right-click Properties and select Disabled in the startup type. Note that both services are disabled.

2. Turn off Windows Defender

1. Windows Defender is the system’s own defense tool. If third-party anti-virus software is installed, Windows Defender can be disabled.

2. Use the Win+R key combination to bring up the run tool and enter gpedit.msc to open the group policy.

3. Open Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Windows Defender, and you can find "Turn off Windows Defender" on the right.

4. Double-click "Turn off Windows Defender", select "Enabled", and click OK.

3. Make good use of index options

1. Control Panel - "Index Options -" Select the index item - "Modify -" Cancel the locations you do not want to index; if you are used to using the artifact tool everything to search for files, you can turn off the indexing function.

2. Close method: Press the Win+R key combination to bring up the running tool, enter "services.msc" to open the service options.

3. Find the Windows Search service, double-click it and select disable it.

4. Turn off the disk defragmentation plan

1. This function will allow the system to defragment the disk at a specific time, causing a large amount of system resources to be occupied.

2. Open "This PC", select any disk, right-click to open properties, and click the "Optimize" button under the Tools tab.

3. Click "Change Settings" and remove the check mark in front of "Run as scheduled".

5. Turn off IPv6

1. Turning on IPv6 in some network card drivers will cause the system to not respond during startup and may freeze. If you are not an IPv6 user, it is recommended to turn it off.

2. Control Panel->Network and Internet->Network and Sharing Center, click Change Adapter Settings on the left.

3. Right-click Properties and deselect "Internet Protocol Version 6".
