2. Quick decompression

② Select a folder in the "Folders/drives" box and press the "Extract" button to extract the compressed file into it.

Tip: WinZip 8.1 will record compressed files. If you want to decompress the compressed file faster, you can right-click the small Zip icon on the system taskbar and select it from the pop-up menu.

3. View multiple compressed files at the same time

① First select several files that need to be decompressed in the system's resource manager, right-click the mouse, and then select "Open with WinZip" on the pop-up menu.

4. Encrypt compressed files

Before sending a compressed file via e-mail, you should consider encrypting the compressed file to prevent it from being viewed casually.

① Select the file in the system's resource manager and select "WinZip" → "Zip and E-Mail Plus" from the right-click menu.

② A window will pop up. Select "Password protect Zip file" and press the "OK" button. You will then be asked to enter the password. Enter the password twice and confirm it is correct before pressing the "OK" button.
