Method/steps

1. Select the Pen Tool in the menu bar and click the left mouse button in the circle pointed by the arrow.

2. Then press and hold the mouse at the lower junction of the apple gap, and then drag to make the path arc conform to the arc of the apple.

3. Click the upper boundary point of the apple gap again and drag the mouse. However, no matter how you drag, the most you can do is make the upper left border of the apple gap coincide with the path arc. Try your best to adjust it to the best position and then release the mouse.

4. Click the direct selection tool in the toolbox and click once at the location indicated by the arrow. The adjustment lever will appear.

5. Directly select the tool, press the alt key, and move the mouse to the left end point of the adjustment rod. At this time, the white arrow, black arrow shaft and black cross symbol on the upper right will appear on the interface. At this time, click the left mouse button on the adjustment point and release it.

6. At this time, drag the adjustment point again. The path arc on the right will not be affected, and the arc on the left will be adjusted.

7. Adjust the left path arc to the appropriate state by adjusting these two points.

8. Click on the empty area and then click the navigation bar path button

9. Click in the path panel to convert it to a selection and then click in the layer panel.

10. With the patch tool attribute set to source, drag the selection to the white part. After releasing the mouse, the gap in the apple is gone. However, you can see that the patch has its own fusion effect because there is a gradient transition between black and white on the right side.

11. Use the patch tool to drag the selection under the target's properties. After patching, not only was the gap not repaired, but a gap was added to the area where the drag was released.
