What should I do if the save file of Assassin's Creed Unity is lost? Overwriting saves.ini and the save file is lost and cannot be read. Solution

Author: Lin Yu Date: 2017-06-23

There must be many friends who play Assassin's Creed Unity who will overwrite the saves.ini archive, causing the problem that the archive cannot be read. If you want the game to be able to read the save file normally, the premise is that your original save file is still alive.

In other words, if you open a new game and find that there is no save file, the save file will be overwritten if you don’t play it again.

Let me just tell you how to deal with it.

First you have to open saves.ini

Enter at the end of the file and add the following paragraphs

[Saves]

Save001=AC4BF[0]-tm_2015_11_10_18_45_30

Save002=AC4BF[3]-tm_2015_11_10_18_45_36

Pay attention to the part I marked in red. That date is the last modification date of your original archive.

Generally, you can only check the accuracy to the minute. For example, my 1.save and 2.save are both 2015.11.10 18:45, so I write 2015_11_10_18_45_30. The last 30 and 36 are seconds, and you can write them randomly (this should be the case)

If you still don’t understand, look at the example below

like me

1. The modification date of save is 2015.11.10 17:33

2.Save modification date 2015.12.11 17:35

The corresponding statement is

[Saves]

Save001=AC4BF[0]-tm_2015_11_10_17_33_30

Save002=AC4BF[3]-tm_2015_11_10_17_35_36

Summary: After the modification, the game will be restarted to read the archive, and the game will be able to enter your original archive normally.
